Welcome to the
"new" Temperance House! The Temperance House has been a part of the Lewisburg PA community for almost 40 years and we are very excited and look forward to showing off our new design and improvements to our loyal guests and new friends. Our new pub atmosphere has an open floor plan, which will allow us to have entertainment on a regular basis, and we have added a great outdoor deck. The original Temperance House dining room has been upgraded to a cozy raised paneled drawing room. For those requesting a more formal atmosphere, the Old Dining Room has been kept to its original design. Close relatives of the original owner, Joe Shaffer, have commented, "Joe would be proud." Behind the scenes we have completely renovated the kitchen with state of the art appliances. The new management has made a commitment to the community to provide both causal and formal dining in a comfortable atmosphere.
